The national retrofit programme will upgrade one million homes with the next decade. This is the largest civil engineering project in the history of the state. The Government has set a target of 20% and 33% energy efficiency in our homes and public buildings respectively. This programme will be crucial in helping us reach that target.
It makes sense that we develop a retrofit programme for Ireland. Over half of our buildings were built before 1980 and are losing vast amounts of energy, heat and ultimately wasting money. They need to be upgraded.
To make this happen faster we work with home owners and residents associations to upgrade entire terraces at the same time. This saves everybody money and time and assures you of the best quality work.
When we externally insulate multiple houses of a similar type we can really dig into the sources of heat loss and develop innovative solutions to really help your home.
